Sonata in G (for Double Bass and Piano)  –  mp3  –  score
I wrote it during the summer of 1977 and just got done putting it into Finale.

Here are movements from a String Quartet
String4tetNo1-1-Aggressive – mp3score
String4tetNo1-2-Interlude – mp3score
String4tetNo1-3-DarkWaltz – mp3score
String4tetNo1-4-Excited – mp3score

the first movement was actually composed in 1972 and recently put into Finale.

Here is a String Quartet that I wrote back in 1979 as performed at a recital I did at
FSU way back then. It’s pretty neat, includes a lot of improvisation interspersed
with the notes written in the score. It is called “Pair of Deuces”,
scored for Violin and Cello vs. Viola and Bass.
