Feb 2022 with Magnolia South Band - /MSB-LakeTribe-Feb2022/
A standing project for the next several months is a concert presentation of the
music from Touch - a musical that ran Off-Off-Broadway in the 1970-71
season. Jim wrote music for several of the songs and was the original
Musical Director. The Original Cast Album was nominated for a 1972
Grammy. Check out /touch2

Jan DeCosmo produced an outdoor concert on April 3 at a new venue called The Hole: A Place for Healing

Here are a couple clips from a radio concert that
the Heightman-Crozier Quartet did in 1990 on the program "Snatches of
Jazz" hosted (and recorded) by Mark Okasako. Michael McKenzie - trumpet, Alan Heightman -
guitar, Jim Crozier - bass, Marlon Moore - drums (Deborah Lawson sang
on this concert but not on these tracks.)

Here is a String Quartet
that I wrote back in 1979 as performed at a recital I did at FSU way
back then. It's pretty neat, includes a lot of improvization
interspersed with the notes written in the score.
It is called "Pair of Deuces",
scored for Violin
and Cello vs. Viola and Bass.
